THIS AUTUMN BCP PRESENTS…

Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night

Directed by Susan Conte

 Tuesday 6th October – Sunday 11th October 2015

OSO Arts Centre, Barnes Pond, SW13

Presented by multi-award winning Barnes Community Players, this most lyrical of Shakespeare’s Italian comedies is set in Illyria and re-imagined in the heat and storm of the post-war Mediterranean landscape.

Danger lurks for young Viola, washed ashore after a shipwreck into 1946 Italy.  She dresses as a boy for safety but confusions develop.

With instant love and mistaken identity, which love affair will survive the Italian heat and why does Malvolio wear those yellow stockings?

A multi-layered look at love in all its guises, this is a much loved classic and suitable for all the family 12 years+.

Final performance at 12 noon on Sunday 11th October is a benefit performance for the OSO Arts Centre. There is a limited number of tickets available per night so purchase your tickets early to avoid missing out!
