Barnes Community Players is a vibrant and friendly theatrical group based in Barnes.  We stage three to four shows each year produced and acted by people from Barnes itself and its surrounding areas; we also organise workshops and theatre outings, parties and events.

We are always looking for new members to join our group, either as actors or as part of the production team and we warmly welcome people of all ages. Get in touch with us if you’re interested in joining this wonderful theatrical group!

Coming this autumn to the OSO, Barnes Community Players will present a triple bill of satirical one-act plays about iconic women, directed by Susan Conte.

Handbagged, by Moira Buffini, depicts weekly meetings between the Queen and Margaret Thatcher during her years in power. This is followed by two other one-act plays, Acting Leader and the Panel.  These three plays explore power at the top of Royal, Political and Corporate Circles.

Come along to our triple bill of satire and be entertained by corgis and head scarves, Tony Blair, Gordon Brown and many others.

With the limited seating available in the OSO, lovers of great theatre are advised to book early to avoid disappointment!

We will be performing 5 shows from 30th September 2014 to the 4th October at 7:30pm each evening, so put the date in your diary!

Tickets will be on sale nearer to the time, watch this space for more information, or follow us on twitter for frequent updates from @BCPSW13!
